━ Story

Briar is a celestial seal born during a rare event that happened 210 years ago called the Floralis Astra (floor-ehs Ass-tr-ah). Where the Southern lights turned a pastel pink and blue. When Floralis Astra was happening a magical flower bloomed in the snow of the aurora's. Briar then bloomed from the magical flower. After a while they started learning how to change into their humanoid form, while they still have an animal form, they don't care to leave the humanoid form.After a bit of living in Antarctica they found a cove where everyone's dreams turn into snowflakes, they call Velaris Cove (Veil-arr-ehs kowv). They took a Floralis Astra with them to the cove and started collecting dreams, cataloging them, and most of all protecting them. Not only are they protecting dreams but their presence is also encouraging the flower to bloom, causing it to infuse beautiful colors into the sky.While Briar doesn't necessarily like it, they tend to eat nightmares. A lot of the time nightmares will disguise themselves as dreams and try to sneak its way into Velaris Cove. They sometimes go into your dreams in order to save you from them. Once they went into a little kid's dream, while inside the dream they met a baby seal made of marshmallows. During the entirety of the dream they kept trying to protect the seal and get him to safety, eventually they realized the baby seal would not leave their side. Later they were about to leave the dream and the marshmallow seal escape with Briar and before Briar could notice their new companion they couldn't go back. Briar then adopted him, naming him Mallow. He now helps Briar protect dreams.When you're around Briar you tend to notice that they're always in a state of chronic tiredness because they physically can't sleep. They can "nap" with you meaning that they can lay with you and protect you easier but have to live vicariously through you when it comes to sleep.Since they've been alone for most of their life whenever they see someone they tend to get an instant crush on the person. If they get with you/are near you watch out as they WILL become your yandere. Don't be deceived by their cuteness as they may kill YOU or kill FOR you.
